  • Sept 2 Depart from your home city to Cairo
  • Sept 3 Upon arrival to Cairo, you will be met by our representative in Egypt and transferred to your hotel for overnight. Steigenberger Pyramids (Pyramid view room)
  • Sept 4 After breakfast, your private Egyptologist tour guide and driver will pick you up and start your tour.  See the Great Pyramid, a royal burial chamber and the Sphinx. Camel ride at the Pyramids. Lunch en route. Continue to visit the Egyptian Museum, this houses a magnificent collection of Pharaonic antiquities, especially the golden treasures of Tut Ankh Amun. Finish the tour with a visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Return back to your hotel for overnight Optional Sound & Light Show at Pyramids available

  • Sept 13 This morning (prior to breakfast), you can enjoy an optional Hot Air Balloon ride over the Nile Valley After breakfast, tour Karnak & Luxor temple,  visit Karnak Temple, called by some “the Temple of Temples.” It is the largest place of worship ever built. Its ancient name Ipet-Isut means “the most sacred of places.” The temple, or, more correctly, the complex of temples, was built over more than two thousand years by generation after generation of pharaohs. Within the complex, the great “Hypostyle Hall” is an incredible forest of giant pillars covering an area larger than the whole of Notre Dame Cathedral. Proceed to the graceful Temple of Luxor built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals and dedicated to the god Amun. T Overnight at hotel. Steigenberger Nile Palace (Nile view room)
  • Sept 14 Visit Khnum temple at Esna, visit El Kab temple in Edfu (around 85 Km from Luxor), embarkation on board your Nile Cruise, overnight on board.
  • Sept 15 Visit the wondrous Valley of the Kings, a vast city of the dead, where the magnificent tombs of 62 pharaohs have been discovered. The tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs. Visit several of the tombs. Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This beautiful monument to the reign of the only female pharaoh rises out of the desert plain in a series of terraces and merges with the sheer limestone cliffs that surround it. On the way back stop at the famed Colossi of Memnon, two 66ft, 1 thousand ton statues of Amenhotep III. These colossal statues were known by the ancient Greeks to emit haunting voices at dawn. Though damaged by nature and ancient tourists, the statues are still impressive. Sail to Esna and sail to Edfu, overnight on board.
  • Sept 16 Visit Horus temple in Edfu, sail to Kom Ombo, visit Sobek temple in Kom Ombo, sail to Aswan, overnight on board
  • Sept 17 Visit Gabal El Selsela (around 85 Km from Aswan), lunch on board, Felucca ride, overnight on board.
  • Sept 18 Visit ancient temples, such as Khrum, :  Disembarkation, Visit High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, Philae temple, fly back to Cairo. Check in Hilton Heliopolis hotel..
  • Sept 19 Transfer from Hilton Heliopolis to Cairo Airport and return home
