What You’ll Learn

This course combines:

Knowledge development (online or offline study)

Course Prerequisites & Minimum Age

Prerequisites:

Able to swim
Medically fit for diving
Comfortable in the water

In-water requirements:

Float or tread water for 10 minutes without aids
Swim 200 meters/yards without aids or 300 meters/yards with mask, fins, and snorkel

Minimum Age: 10

Divers aged 10–14 earn a Junior Open Water Diver certification
Junior divers automatically upgrade to Open Water Diver at age 15
